Re: How to make QR codes for Hikvision Software

Hi - slightly confused, what are the QR codes for? The QR code is on the box to add to the Hik-Connect app or in the advanced network menu. You only need to do this once?

How are you trying to access the cameras?

Re: Remote set up

I'm pretty sure you need to login to the ezviz account (web portal) and delete it from the account. How can you add it to an account you don't have access to?

Check all firmware is up to date, other than that go back to where you bought it from for the appropriate support.

Re: NVR and IP Camera Set Up

The cameras should all be plug and play - but did you make up your cat 5 leads with correct cat 5 wiring - not just your own with it being the same both end? If you don;t split a pair of colours up as per propper wiring you will drastically shorten a cables distance. Do the cameras work on the NVR u...

Re: hikvision dvr 7208hghi-sh no hik-connect option

I assume the Hik Connect status is 'Offline'?

If so check your network settings and that you have dns server addresses entered (set to auto if not)

Re: hik-connect and router 3G/4G

If you are talking about port forwarding issues using a typical 3g/4g sim then yes P2P does overcome this. It is true that most mobile networks block the ports at the network level. Unless getting a fixed IP sim card apparently from specialists.
