Re: Darkfighter PTZ camera keeps restarting during night

Limeliz, I read your post and I think you might be on the right track regarding possible power issues. I looked up the specs on this camera and it's power consumption is stated at "Max 60 Watts". Your 4 Amp supply should provide at lest 90 Watts without taking in to account for voltage drop. I assum...

Re: H265+ on NVR

Rickwookie, About a month ago I updated the firmware on my 7700N1-I4 to V3.4.92 Build 170228 and this still does not have H.265 or H.265+(only H.264+) Bloupbloup: I have seen a couple more recent versions of Firmware for however I am not sure if they are specific to your region. Also what Firmware v...

Re: DS-7204HUHI-K1 Line Crossing Detection Confusion

Hippo, I don't know that I can be of help but as you have not received a response I thought I would reply. I have a DS-7700 series NVR and I to use line crossing as I find I get less false alarms than motion detection. I have mine set for bot directions and I checked three of them on the NVR interfa...

Re: hik-connect restrict cam viewing

Do you want to restrict the field of view of a camera(s)? Or do you want to restrict viewing a particular camera(s) altogether? If it is the former, you can set up "Privacy Mask". I don't understand why you would want to limit your viewing of your cameras? or do you mean giving access to another per...

Re: Email attachments

Is your NVR capturing the pictures?
By that I mean can you view the captured pictures on your NVR either by its GUI or from an Internet Browser? (PICTURE then search by CHANNEL, FILE TYPE, START TIME & END TIME.)
I suspect you may need to check the setup of the capture parameters.

Re: Setting Up Motion Detection On Your Hikvision Recorder

Kamara, If you want to capture video for "Line Crossing" as well as motion at the same time, what colour do you select in the recording schedule? Also In step 2 where you setup the Motion section, there is also a schedule settings section here. How does this schedule differ from the "Recording Sched...

Re: Hik connect will not let me add device

Josh, When you say "Trying to move your cameras over" I am not sure on what has changed in your setup. I assume you are referring to trying to add your NVR on the Website and not the Smartphone App? If you are logging in on their website, Are you using the same Hik-Connect account details or have yo...

Re: looking for firmware 3.1.7 DS7316hqhi-sh

Georges Try this link and follow these steps. There are four files in the folder, I think yours is the fourth one. The fifth file is some release notes. Please check it carefully prior to use to ensure it is the firmware for your DVR. http://www.hikvisioneurope.com/portal/ Home » portal » Product Fi...

Re: Firmware updates

Well it took around seven days and a big thank you to a sympathetic tech from far away who created an "Unlock" XML file that allowed me to gain access to my NVR. I didn't manage to activate it with the first file he created for me and he was supportive enough to create a second one which I was able ...

Re: Renaming my different DVRs for viewing on iVMS-4500

Tim, You should be able to rename it to what ever you like, I just did it on mine and it works fine, I am on Android and I assume yours is IOS and the screens are slightly different. On your screen shot tap the icon in the top LH corner, That should bring you to your "Device List", Select the device...
