Re: Renaming my different DVRs for viewing on iVMS-4500

Tim, You should be able to rename it to what ever you like, I just did it on mine and it works fine, I am on Android and I assume yours is IOS and the screens are slightly different. On your screen shot tap the icon in the top LH corner, That should bring you to your "Device List", Select the device...

Re: Greyed out Percentage setting in Intrusion rule.

Howard, I recently upgraded the firmware version on my (Dome) cameras and around a week later I upgraded the firmware on my NVR to V3.4.92 (Was 3.3.9 Build 160612). I have noticed the same thing, the percentage slider is greyed out. While I thought the slider was available after the camera upgrade, ...

Re: ivms4200 & saving config to NVR

Howard, I don't consider myself an expert in this area as I am learning the ropes myself. I 'have used IVMS4200 to a very minor extent and haven't fully configured it. While it appears to have some great features it's major benefit would be if you are managing multiple NVR's/DVR/s. It can handle ove...

Re: HIK Connect - Device verification code

That would be the verification code on the sticker on the side of your NVR/DVR along with its serial number. Or if you go to the software on your NVR/DVR and go to "System Maintenance/System Info" you should see your verification code there. Or it should also be at "Configuration/Network/Platform ac...

Re: Firmware upgrade

Kamara, Yes I am aware of all that and the NVR and my cameras are not "Grey Market" items, They are all Australian purchased items, Apparently going from the firmware version I upgraded from, the new firmware locks the device requiring an unlock code to be provided by Hikvision. To resove this I nee...

Re: Firmware updates

I recently updated the firmware on my DS-7732NI-I4/16P NVR from V3.3.9 Build 160612 to V3.4.92 and it all appeared well it rebooted and presented a "Password" screen where it asked for my old password and then to enter a new password and verify the new password. I entered my old password and it woul...

Re: H265+ on NVR

Yes, Unfortunately on the Hik site here in Australia there is no more recent firmware than the version I have. (Support?? what's that). I have been tempted to use one of the later versions from the U.K. site but they warn about being region specific so I don't want to "Brick" my NVR. I just looked o...

Re: POE issue - Camera Does not come up after update

Leeroy, Do you have any other cameras on your system and are they receiving power from the ports on your NVR? Have you tried the DS-2CD2012F-I(W) camera on any other ports of your NVR? What lights come on at the port when you plug the camera in? If you only have the one camera to test with, have you...
