Re: Re-routing cameras

Sounds like you will have to reset the cameras on the old network and then connect them to the NVR which should then pick them up.
Or If you can access one of your cameras easily, remove the cover and hold the reset button down for 10 seconds while powering it up. that will also reset it.

Re: Re-routing cameras

Ben, Not an expert on this but you can give this a try. I assume you are running DHCP on your NVR, It sounds like the cameras have the old I.P. addresses and need to pick up new ones from your NVR. I assume your cameras are DS-2CD2142FWD-I (or similar). I had to do this with a camera and as it wasn'...

Re: Restrict cameras in local view

Esteban, Until Adam jumps in to assist, I know on my Hikvision NVR if you go to Configuration/Liveview/Layout you (I) can select how many devices to show on one screen (1, 2*2, 1+5, 1+7, 3*3, etc). Example I can choose a 2*2 screen to show up to 4 cameras (channels). I can choose which 4 channels I ...

Re: GUIDE: Logging directly into IP cameras that are connected to an NVR

Adam, Just last week the time display on one of my cameras was out by an hour and anything I did to correct it threw all the other cameras out by an hour. I was able to do a "camera default" (on the offending camera) from the NVR which solved the problem with the time difference. The NVR did not off...

Re: How to make QR codes for Hikvision Software

Armitron77. Are you using Hik-Connect? I know you can make QR codes within Hik-Connect and save it as a JPEG and then share it by email etc. I am not sure exactly what they are for I can only assume that once your system is set up with Hik-Connect on one smartphone you can create a QR code of the se...
