Turbo hd, wireless transmission questions.

Postby daiashthomas » Sat Dec 09, 2017 7:04 pm

Has anyone tried to transmit/receive HD-TVI over some kind of wireless sender receiver units?

I have used stuff years ago in the analogue days, but not sure if hd-tvi would work.

My situation is that I have recently purchased some agricultural land with some sheds on.
I would like to send images from this land to my house where my turbo dvr is situated.
Direct line of site to the sheds is 210m
There are no other buildings in the line of sight.

So 250m+ units would be ok.

I'd prefer the units to be 12v powered like the cameras.
As there is no electricity on the site.
So I'd be looking at solar panels with batteries.

Thanks.

Hi,

Don't think there is something that will support TVI yet.
You can do what you want using a IP camera which you can transmit using equipment like Ubiquiti, all TVI recorders accept a certain amount of IP cameras.
If you're using solar use an Industrial Solar PoE switch like a Planet BSP-300

Ok, thanks for the reply.

I think my turbo dvr will take 2 ip cameras.

Thanks again!
