To enable audio recording on a Hikvision NVR/DVR using GUI 4 through the web interface, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Enable Video & Audio in Stream Settings​

1. Log into the recorder via the web interface.
2. Navigate to:
   Configuration → Video/Audio
3. Under Stream Type, select Main Stream (Normal).
4. Locate Video Type and change the dropdown to:
   Video & Audio
5. Click Save.
6. Repeat the same process for:
   
   • Main Stream (Event)
   • Sub Stream
7. Click Save after configuring each stream type.

1. In the left-hand menu, go to:
   Storage → Storage Schedule
