ColorVu Not Showing Colour at Night

Hello,

I recently installed a Hikvision ColorVu camera because I wanted full-colour night recording. However, at night the image switches to black and white.
Is there a setting I need to adjust to force colour mode at night?
The camera I have is: DS-2CD2T87G3-LIS

Dear member,
On the new Colorvu cameras you will have 3 options:

1 - IR Supplement Light - This is probably what you are using now, the camera use the standard IR at night. (B/W only)
2 - White Light Supplement light - With this option the White Light will stay on during the night. (Color Mode)
3 - Smart Mode - With this option the camera will remain in IR mode, until a pre configured event is triggered such as Line Crossing or Intrusion Detection, the camera will then activate the White Light remaining in full color mode for a set period of time.
After that the camera will switch back again to standard IR mode.
To change and test each mode, login to the camera web interface via the IP address and go to Configuration - Image - Supplement Light - enable Smart Supplement Light and select different options such as duration for Smart Mode, Brightness control, IR and White Light Brightness Limit.
