Dear member,
Based on your description, the issue could be related to recording configuration, storage, or HDD status rather than the cameras themselves.
Please check the following:
1. HDD Not Recording or Has Become Abnormal
If the hard drive has gone offline, uninitialized, or developed errors, the NVR will still show live view but will not store footage.
On the web interface of your NVR, please check the Status under:
Configuration - Storage Management - Storage HDD
Confirm the HDD status shows Normal and not:
Uninitialized, Abnormal, Error, Not Present
If the HDD is abnormal the recorder will display live video but save no recordings.
2. Recording Schedule May Have Been Changed or Disabled
Sometimes after a reboot, firmware update, or accidental configuration change, the recording schedule can be disabled.
Check under Configuration - Storage Management - Storage Schedule - → Video Recording → Schedule Details
Ensure that the cameras are set to:
Continuous (blue) and that the schedule covers 24/7 if required.
If the schedule is blank, the NVR will show “No Record File” even though cameras are online.
3. Overwrite Disabled with Full HDD
If the HDD reached full capacity and overwrite is disabled, the NVR will stop recording new footage.
Verify: Configuration -Storage Management - Advanced Configuration - Overwrite
This should be enabled for long-term systems.
4. Recording Parameters Not Enabled Per Channel
Another common cause is recording being disabled on individual channels.
Check under Configuration - Storage Management - Storage Schedule - Video Recording
Make sure that record is enabled on each channel
5. Date/Time or Time Sync Issues
If the system time changed (NTP sync, power loss, or manual adjustment), recordings may exist under a different date than expected.
Check the time under Configuration - System Configuration - Region and Time make sure that the time is correct there.
Then try to playback using a wider date/time range.
Please let us know if that fix the issue
